Brighter Days Are Coming & A Little Peek

 

Hello & Happy Sunday! 

I'm a lot later than planned, and not with what I intend to share with you all today. But Boy! All the prep and excitement for yesterdays Uniko 13th Birthday Stamping Retreat took it out of me! 

Here's a little look at the room set up from yesterday. 

As usual I was too distracted and forgot to take any photos during the workshop. But from the feedback, everyone had a lovely and creative time.

Today, I actually had to be a responsible adult and mum, and catch up on some things around the house in preparation for the week ahead. I'm sure I only did a food shop the other day, but these ever growing Beans have eaten us out of house and home.

Anyway, as I didn't quite finish my original cards I thought I would share one that I shared a peek of on social media yesterday and a little peek at another of something coming soon.

The cards in the kit were a mix of the January Release and the upcoming February Release. I chose Flower Power #11 from January going for some cheerful rainbow colours and a little brighter days sentiment. 

This little stamp set is in demand and I can confirm that it'll be back in stock along with the new release at the end of the month.

Talking of restocks, I have a BIG restock of stencils coming this week, including the NEW Layering Picked Posies and Mid Century Modern Circles & Stars from the January Release. Along with others that have been requested. 

I will update the website as soon as I have a definite confirmation and I will share here on the blog and via newsletter, along with another fun offer.

You're Going to Flip - Ink & Flip Christmas Star Revisited

Hello & Welcome to You're Going to Flip Week! 

If you missed what this is all about and the sneak peek, be sure to check out yesterdays post HERE. Today we a starting with a revisit and giving fresh inky love to the very first Ink & Flip stencil I designed and released back in July 2023, Ink & Flip Christmas Star.

I called it Christmas Star as it 'fell in' with the Christmas release! But really, this design can be used all year round and is especially great for those masculine cards.

Welcome to, You're going to Flip Week & a Sneak Peek!

Hello, happy Monday and welcome to, You're Going To Flip Week! 

Myself and the Brand Ambassadors are doing things a little different this week. Mainly because I am a little 'off' schedule with a spell of poorly Beans, poorly husband's working from home and taking over the studio, the start of craft shows and then two weeks Easter holidays, I didn't want to rush a bigger release, but I didn't want to wait to bring you this either. 

This week on the blog leading up to Saturday when this NEW Ink & Flip layering stencil is available, we will be revisiting all the previously released Ink & Flip Stencils in turn each day with lots of inspiration on how to use these stencils. 

Hence, the naming of this week, You're Going to Flip Week!

Surprise April Product Release Sneak Peek!

Hello & Happy Tuesday,

Yep, today I have a little April surprise for you with a new product release coming this Saturday 22nd April at 9am BST.  

I will be demoing these new Designer Dies on the Uniko stand on Saturday at the Stamping Together show, but before that myself and The Brand Ambassadors will be showcasing them on the blog this week. I am super excited about these as not only do they coordinate with a previously released clear stamp set. They are also super versatile to be used on their own.

Hands up who knows the clear stamp set they coordinate with and gave a little squeal like I did?!  

As there are just these dies being launched, the introductions will be a little different this week, but super fun too. I hope you will pop back tomorrow for the first instalment of creative inspiration.

May 2017 Sneak Peeks

WhooHoo!

Not only is today Hubby's birthday and a Bank Holiday here in the UK, it is also the day I get to show you a couple of the 'official' sneak peeks for the May 2017 Release.

Thank you for your patience in waiting for this release, I know many of you have been waiting for it! I decided to time it to coincide with Happy Stampers Festival, which is on Saturday - YAY!

With the popularity of the Background Blocks Halftone clear stamp released in February, I have another two joining the series! These are todays peeks...

Both of these are SO fun and I can't wait to show you some of the possibilities they hold. Be sure to pop back on Wednesday 3rd May, when myself and the DT get to introduce you to these two stamps :)

November 2016 Sneak Peeks

Hey & Happy Thanksgiving to All that Celebrate!

Even though we do not celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK, I am truly thankful for each and everyone of you. Without all of YOU Uniko wouldn't still be going, so THANK YOU and welcome to the last release of 2016 here at Uniko.

This month we have 3 more clear stamp sets to add to the Uniko collection, they have a Christmasy theme to them but 2 of the 3 can be used for other occasions too :)

As usual we start the countdown to release with some little sneak peeks, you may have already seen a few peeks at the new sets around the Design Team blogs and social media. However, if you missed the first two 'official' peeks you can catch up HERE and now onto the last little peek...

Lastly but by no means least we have a fun addition to the 'Rustic' collection! This fun mini set has so many possibilities on its own, but pair it with sentiments and images from Rustic Christmas and Background Builders: Vines and Vines Winter Additions for even MORE possibilities!

Ok, so that's all the peeks for this release! That means tomorrow we start the real fun and you get to see the first two peeks in action. Introducing... Marvellous Mehndi and Simply Said II

YAY!

I'm SO happy that you have decided to pop back today, didn't the design team do an awesome job yesterday HERE of showcasing Originally Organic?!

Today we are introducing you to two more clear stamp sets called Marvellous Mehndi and Simply Said II. Marvellous Mehndi is my modern approach to the Mehndi / Henna style with a hint of paisley too. It features a large focal mandala stamp and a variety of smaller stamps to create your own patterns. Simply Said II is an additional/follow on clear stamp set from Simply Said. It features sentiment stamps in the same font and size, giving you even more occasions, sentiment combinations and possibilities!

How about some eye candy...

For my first card I have combined the largest mandala stamp from the Marvellous Mehndi clear stamp set and two sentiments from Simply Said II. The mandala is stamped in VersaMark ink and embossed with detail white EP. I then selectively coloured it with a trio of Prismacolor pencils.

For my next card today using these clear stamps I wanted to show you how they coordinate and can be combined with the previously released Fun Flowers clear stamp set. 

If you look closely at the the new Mehndi stamps you will notice that they feature smaller versions of the floral designs that are in the Fun Flowers set. I love giving older sets more worth and creating more possibilities and breathe new life into them

On this second card I have used the smaller mandala stamp inside the largest flower stamp from Fun Flowers. I filled in the design with a teardrop from the Marvellous Mehndi set and the smallest flower from Fun Flowers. I selectively coloured the stamped panel with SU! markers and embellished with glitter. The sentiment is another from Simply Said II.

Introducing... Originally Organic

YAY!

I'm SO happy that you have stopped by today, as here at Uniko preparations for the Sept/Oct product release are well underway. We have had all the sneak peeks at the 5 clear stamp sets being released and NOW it is time for the Design Team and I to introduce them to you.

So, without further ado lets get to it! Today we are introducing you to a clear stamp set called Originally Organic. This is a modern floral/foliage set with a collection of positive friendship and growth sentiments.

My first card uses one of the stamps that I have already given you a huge peek at and used HERE on my Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop card! This time though I wanted to give the stamp the focus and kept my card really simple.

The image is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copic Markers, I then embellished the image with a trio of SU! Candy Dots.

My next card showcases the second larger stamps contained in the set...

A fun feature of this stamp is that the flower/foliage heads are interchangeable and also multi-step stamps. This time I chose a brighter colour palette and added another of the sentiments contained in the set. I kept the embellishment of the image simple with only adding a touch of clear Wink Of Stella.
