Happy Wonderful Wednesday!

Welcome to day 5 and the last of the Uniko Christmas in July 2025 Release products introductions. Be sure to check out the other introductions from this week and the weekend in the sidebar.

Today, lastly, but by no means least we get to introduce the final Flower Power stamp set, Flower Power #12. This one is beautifully festive and rounds up the collection perfectly.

It feels a little bittersweet to end the product introductions with the last being added to a collection. But I know it is the perfect ending and I can see myself using this pretty little floral a lot this coming Christmas.

AND that's not all the inspiration, as usual I have a video introduction over on the Uniko YouTube channel HERE

All the products will be available tomorrow at 9am BST Thursday 31st July 2025.  But be sure to join us here for the traditional Brand Ambassador Blog Hop & Giveaway!

Pretty Poinsettia Postage Collage - 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways Day 11

Happy Wonderful Wednesday.

Welcome to day 11 of the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways. Today I am sharing a pretty poinsettia card using Pure Florals Poinsettia which was brought back from retirement and reintroduced last year.

And I've paired it with a non Uniko product collection from Waffle Flower Crafts, their amazing Postage Collage Collection.

Yep, I couldn't resist any longer and purchased a basics collection which includes the Postage Collage Dies, Postage Collage Block Stencil and two mini stamp sets, Royal Mail and Postage Collage.

Let's have a look at the card I created.

I die cut the postage collage and then used the block stencil to add the colours. I chose Honeysuckle, Poppy and Cranberry and I wasn't precious over the colours mixing a little into the shapes.

I then placed the die cut and stencil into my stamping platform. I placed the poinsettia stamp as best I could covering as many of the shapes. I had to repeat stamp about 3 times to get a full image, especially along the inside edges of the stencil.

I added a couple of the accents from the small Postage Collage and Royal mail stamp sets and added the Peace On Earth sentiment from Pure Florals Poinsettia. I did add a little sparkle to the poinsettia centre using a gel pen.

This was a fun first mash up of Uniko and the Waffle Flower Crafts products and I have more ideas waiting to be tested.

If you fancy watching this card being made I have a short over on YouTube HERE.

Before I go, the giveaway. Be sure to leave a comment by 31st July 2025 for your chance to win the Pure Florals Poinsettia I've used on this card. If you are the lucky winner picked randomly from comments left across Uniko’s social media and already own the products, an alternative will be offered.

Winners will be announced first week of August 2025.

12 Days Of Christmas Inspiration & Giveaways - Day 9 Season Of Beauty

 Hello & Happy Monday.

Today I thought I would start the week with some festive florals and a stamp set which is often overlooked, Season Of Beauty. I definitely think it is a clear stamp set that needs to be seen in action to see its creative potential.

I thought a lovely frame idea would create a fun focal point, so I used a rectangle die to create a frame from a piece of white card measuring 10.5 x 14cm. I then mirror stamped the foliage on my frame by using my stamping platform.

I adhered the frame to my card bas using foam adhesive and then added a couple of the layered Poinsettia flowers, one tucked in the frame and then one outside. I stamped the flowers in Ballet Slipper, Poppy and Cranberry. The foliage and leaves are stamped in Evergreen, Avocado and Parsley.

As usual I will have a video over on Uniko's YouTube Channel with another card using this set later today. I am having a couple of technical issues and waiting for some IT assistance from my husband!

The giveaway today is the Season Of Beauty Clear Stamp Set. My question to you today is, are you green fingered and do you have festive indoor plants like the poinsettia?

Saturday Spotlight - Pure Florals Poinsettia

Happy Weekend.

Today I thought I would put Pure Florals Poinsettia in the spotlight. I started colouring this poinsettia during the week and finally I got to finishing it last night.

As you know I am not an expert at colouring, I'm far from it. But now and then I like to dabble and have a play.

I decided that it would be less daunting to colour if I stamped the poinsettia onto a pink card stock base. So I had a look through my stash and found this old Stampin' Up! card. I'm not 100% sure what the colour is but it's a soft pretty pink.

I stamped the poinsettia in C9 Cranberry ink and set to colouring using my Prismacolor Pencils. I used PC292 and PC195 and white for the centre.

After I'd finished colouring, I decided to add a little detail and fussy cut along a few petals. I trimmed the card to fit my white card base and adhered using foam tape.

To finish I added a sentiment combination from the set onto a strip of white card and cut ribbon tails into one end. Lastly adding a few Cranberry enamel dots.

Before I go I thought I would share a couple more cards from the archives and the Pure Florals Poinsettia Pinterest page.

On this first card I stamped the poinsettia in black onto white card and created this partial fussy cute panel, colouring the centre of the flower with gold ink. I then adhered the panel to the red card base using foam tape.

On this second card I went for a classic red, white and kraft colour combo. I heat embossed the poinsettia on red card and then die cut it using a circle die, layering it with this fun loopy scalloped die which is an old one from Papertrey Ink. Before layering on my card I added a layered ribbon banner.

Lastly I am sharing this first card from the original release of Pure Florals Poinsettia. Here I simply stamped the flower on two shades of red card. I fussy cut the bottom layer and then for the top layer I partially cut the flower out to add depth and dimension. I finished with another of the sentiments and white gel pen to the centre of the flower.

That's all from me today, I hope you have enjoyed this little spotlight feature on Pure Florals Poinsettia.

It's Beginning To Look Like... Reintroducing Pure Florals Poinsettia

Hello & Happy Wednesday.

Myself, our Guest & the Uniko Brand Ambassadors are here to get you over the mid week hump with the second of FIVE product introductions for our October/November Release. If you missed the first you can catch up HERE.

I think this is the one many have been waiting for. Today I am delighted to be reintroducing, Pure Florals Poinsettia.

Pure Florals Poinsettia originally made its debut in November 2012. It was one of the first Christmas clear stamp sets I released here at Uniko and is back by popular demand!

Another delight is we have a wonderful Guest Brand Ambassador joining us for this release. If you follow me over on Seven Hills Crafts and their blog you may be familiar with Natalia. Natalia's style of paper crafting and card making always WOWS me, so I was delighted when she said yes to creating with some Uniko stamps.

Let's have a look at what Natalia and the Brand Ambassadors have created using Pure Florals Poinsettia.

This clear stamp set has a classic festive elegance to it and I think this hop really shows the beauty this set has to offer.

I know you'll be seeing more of this in the coming weeks as I crack on with my Christmas card making! I'd love to know what you think.

Until tomorrow,

Festive Floral Friday - Modern Poinsettia Wreath

Hello & Happy Friday.

It's the first day of the school holidays and it is pretty much a washout! The Beans have been quite happy playing gadgets and generally enjoying some downtime. So I have taken the opportunity to be in the studio and getting creative. I've all the upcoming release on my desk, so there is a bit of creative chaos happening.

Anyway, I've been wanting to create another modern poinsettia card for a while and as my wreath builder stencil was out in my MISTI, I got to stamping one using the solid flower from Flower Power #1.

Once I stamped all the flowers, alternating between Poppy and Cranberry inks from Concord & 9th, I added a trio of dots using a little cluster from Originally Organic Additions. The filled the centre of the dots using a black fine liner. Lastly, you know I love a bit of fussy cutting, so cut the wreath out!

With all these new goodies in reach, I couldn't resist adding a sentiment and bow embellishment from one of the stamp sets. It was a perfect match made in heaven 😉

It's almost time for swimming lessons and if this rain continues at this rate, we will be swimming to the swimming lessons!

12 Days of Christmas Giveaways - Day 7

Happy Stencil Sunday!

Welcome to day 7 of the 12 Days of Christmas, Giveaways.

If you missed day 1 and you're wondering what this is all about, be sure to check out all the details HERE and you're welcome to catch up and comment on the previous days. You can find links in the right hand sidebar.

As it is Sunday and it's been a while since my last Stencil Sunday, I dusted off a fabulous floral for todays card, Stencil - Flower Power #1.

For my card today I created a fun modern Poinsettia, using four shades of red. I started with the lightest and for each colour I rotated the stencil a little. I used a black fine liner pen to draw the centre detail and added a simple sentiment from Simply Said Blocks Christmas.

So today's giveaway* is...

Again, WOW!

I am again, simply blown away by all the inspiration. I love seeing how everyone used this stencil. As much as it reminds me of a poinsettia, its perfect for all year round.
