I {Heart} Butterflies!

Hey!

I'm back today with a couple of butterfly cards to share with you as I {Heart} Butterflies! Both of my cards are CAS which fit perfectly into the current Addicted to Stamps challenge HERE.

Here is my first card...

I started out by printing a sheet of paper from the BRIGHT Butterflies Additions digital collection and used a PTI Mat Stack die to die cut the shape. I then used a PTI Butterfly die to die cut the butterfly shape. I stamped the 'Hello' sentiment from Time and added some linen thread and a button.

For my next card I decided to use the supplies I had out and left from my first card & came up with this card...

I used the same LO but used the die cut butterfly from the first card! Great way to use supplies already out on your desk.

That's all from me today as I am still feeling a little 'delicate' after the Hen weekend in Edinburgh! Thanks for stopping by!

No Tricks Here...

Hey!

I'm getting into the Halloween spirit in the Studio, but there are NO Tricks here just Treats! My little treat for you today is a glittery spider web card...

For my card I used a few Uniko Studio digital products: EEK! Digital Stamp Collection, Classics Halloween & Super FREE Saturday BOO! I also used Uniko Studio's Wonderful Washi stamp set. I used the current ColourQ challenge colours HERE and seen below for my card, however instead of Tangerine Tango I used Pumpkin Pie.

This card is quite busy for me a CAS girl with all the pattern & layering, stepping out of my comfort zone ever so slightly! Once I had made the card I felt it needed some sparkle so I added a huge amount of Star Dust Stickles to the spider web.

Seeing this glittery spider web reminded me of the spider webs I saw on my Monday morning walk to Slimming World, which were covered in dew making them stand out.

This reminds me to mention a little bit about Slimming World. I've been going to SW for 38 weeks now & have lost 3 stone 5 1/2 pounds since I started & I feel amazing :) Other than just telling you about my achievement I wanted to tell you that Slimming World is NOW in the US & Canada.

If you want to know more about Slimming World follow this LINK

That's all from me today, I'll be back again tomorrow with more to share. Thanks for stopping by.

BOO! It's Super FREE Saturday!

Hey!

Happy Weekend & Happy Super FREE Saturday! Yep, thats right it's time for the second Super FREE Saturday digital collection, it's available HERE on the website.

So lets get straight to it...

Boo! is a graphic Halloween/Autumn collection featuring 4 paper designs and 4 images both in a brush & PNG format. The colours like all my digital collections coordinate with Stampin' Up! The SU! colours in this collection are Pumpkin Pie, Lucky Limeade, Elegant Eggplant & Basic Grey.

This collection has SO many possibilities & coordinates perfectly with the previously released EEK! digital download collection available HERE. Plus the Halloween digital paper collections HERE and HERE.

How about a card...

I decided to make a square card 14 x 14 cm and used the current Freshly Made Sketch challenge sketch HERE and seen below for the layout of my card. Now, I wanted to tell you a little bit about the size of this 'Scary Boo! Pumpkin tag/label and so that's why I chose this image for my card from the collection.

Up to now all the round images either in the Uniko Studio Clear Stamp Sets or digital collections coordinate with a 1 3/4" circle punch. This tag in this collection is set at the right size to coordinate with a 2 1/2" circle punch or die.

On my card I have cut the image out by hand and layered it onto the PTI Limitless Layers 2 1/2" circle die and scallop die. If I had punched my printed image out with a 2 1/2" circle punch there would be a white border and I would have only matted it to the scallop circle for my card. So, basically my card shows the options available for this image!

Here's a close up...

This card also fits perfectly into the current DYSU challenge which is to use Scallops, check the challenge out HERE.

I'd love to see what you all create using this freebie collection so just add your link in the tool below & I'll pop by to see it & leave a comment :)

Have fun & enjoy the rest of your weekend. I'll be back again tomorrow with more to share with this collection. Thanks for stopping by!

EEK!

Hey!

Happy Wednesday! How's your week going? Good I hope, I can't believe how quickly mine is going! I'm getting into the spirit of Halloween today inspired by all the party stuff and costumes in the shops. Every year there seems to be more and more so it's obviously getting more popular here in the UK. So with that in mind I created a couple of cards for the occasion...

For this first card I used the NEW EEK! Digital Downloadable stamp collection available from the Uniko Studio website HERE.

Instructions:

1. Create a blank document in Adobe Photoshop that was 8.5 x 14 cm.
2. Load EEK! brushes into Photoshop
3. Select the spiderweb brush and make it slightly lager and stamp it in the upper right hand corner.
4. Select the spider brush and stamp it in the lower left of the document.
5. Using the marque tool select the spider and edit transform to turn it 180 degrees.
6. Using the line tool draw a dashed line from the web to the spider.
7. Chose the 'Happy Halloween' sentiment brush and enlarge and stamp in the lower centre of the document.
8. Print document and trim to adhere to card base.

Before I adhered the digital panel to my card base I used the blank mini banner stamp from Wonderful Washi & stamped it onto a paper printed from Eclectic Mix Halloween and cut it out. I also stamped the hexagon mini banner onto Lucky Limeade CS and cut it out.

This card fits into the current CAS-ual Friday's challenge HERE which is to use black, white & a colour of your choice. I chose Lucky Limeade from SU! as my colour choice.

The next card I have to share with you today uses EEK! Along with Eclectic Mix Halloween and Classics Halloween...

A super simple card LO using the circle Trick or Treat label brush from the EEK! digital stamp collection. If you use the circle brushes at the size they are when you load them they will coordinate with a 1 3/4" circle punch when you print them out!

I'm looking forward to using this digital stamp collection along with the paper collections to create some treat boxes and Halloween decorations. I will share them with you when I've had time to play!

That's all from me today, I'll be back again tomorrow with more projects to share using NEW goodies recently released at Uniko Studio.

Thanks for stopping by.

Wow! Now thats some release, but we haven't finished yet I've a couple of projects to share with you using the NEW clear photopolymer stamp set and the Design Team have projects to share too!

This first card uses the Label Love: thank you set, I chose one of the labels and stamped it in Plum Pudding ink. All the sentiments contained in the set fit inside each of the labels. I chose the 'With Thanks To You' sentiment. Another feature with this set is that all of the labels coordinate with a 1 3/4" circle punch making it easy to cut them out and layer them with dies and other products available on the market!

This green number above uses the smaller accent stamps contained in the Label Love: thank you stamp set. Here is a close up of the detail...

The small circle also coordinates with a 1" circle punch!

Next up is Wonderful Washi. I love Washi tape but one thing that has stopped me from buying tons of the stuff is that I can never decide what colour or pattern to get & storage is often a problem too. So, with that in mind it got me to thinking and I designed this stamp set making it possible to stamp my own Washi tape in what ever colour I wanted!

This BRIGHT card uses the Washi ribbon which coordinates with the graphic flowers contained in the TIME stamp set. Here's a close up...

I just LOVE the graphic flower so it had to feature as one of the Washi designs! Below is another card using the Wonderful Washi...

Another feature of this stamp set is that the large Washi ribbon stamps are double ended one end on each is a ' inverted V' and the other featuring a zig zag, torn edge, 'V' edge and a straight edge giving you tons of mix & match opportunities! The stamps are approximately 16cm long by 2cm wide so they are perfect to fit on a long card or standard card with no ends showing!

Here's a close up of the card above...

That's the last of the projects I have to show you today, I will be back with more projects tomorrow. Before you make your purchases HERE on the website pop on over to the DT blogs to see what they've created using the NEW products!

I'd LOVE to know which is your favourite product and why so leave me a comment below! I might just draw a random lucky winner to receive a prize!

More Super FREE Butterflies...

Hey!

I'm back today with a couple more cards to share using the Super FREE Saturday BRIGHT Butterflies collection. If you missed out on all the fun when it was released you can check it out HERE.

A little recap of what's included...

There are 3 patterned papers and a sheet of full colour printable embellishments. Now for a couple more cards using them...

For this card I matted my card base with one of the patterned papers and then I used matching Pool Party card stock from SU! and die cut a couple of butterflies. I stamped the sentiment from FONTiments - Birthday and added some hand stitching.

For this next card I used another of the patterned papers paired with a sentiment banner which is one of the full colour embellishments...

This is a good card layout to use scraps of patterned papers. I just cut a small strip to adhere to my card base then added a plain layer of white CS to the right hand side using foam adhesive so that the paper could be seen. Printed & cut the embellishment banner and added a few rhinestones.

Here is a close up of the sentiment banner...

That's all from me today, I will be back again tomorrow with another product focus. Thanks for stopping by.

Tech...no?...Florals...yes?!

Hey!

So, you might know that I'm a bit of a technology lover, it kinda comes with the job really but I really do LOVE what I do! I am a bit traditional still with my crafting & I do love to ink my stamps up but to keep up with the times Uniko Studio decided a while back to offer some digital products mainly patterned paper collections to purchase and download and a couple of digital stamp collections.

Today I thought I would focus on a couple of digital products available from Uniko Studio. First up is English Country Garden,

English Country Garden is a digital stamp collection featuring 3 flowers a butterfly & 2 sentiments and all of the come as an Adobe Photoshop Brush & as a PNG file. This digital set was released along side this next collection...

This set of Classic designs in Summery colours is perfect for creating that country feel to your card whether it be a totally hybrid creation or a traditional hybrid mash up!

So how about a few NEW projects to show you...

For this first card I used the Retro Sketch challenge sketch is used yesterday HERE and you can see the challenge HERE. I created the floral file the size I wanted in Adobe Photoshop and stamped the flower and sentiment. Once printed trimmed to size and coloured with Distress Markers.

This next card was also created digitally...

I started out by choosing the polka dot paper and resizing it so the dots were smaller and then I created another layer to stamp the butterfly image in different sizes and used the transform too to change their direction.

I filled the butterflies in 2 colours contained in the paper collection and the larger butterfly in white. I the printed the same size larger butterfly onto another of the patterned paper which I had resized smaller. Fussy cut it out & mounted over the top to give some dimension.

Now for a couple of projects using these products...

The card above uses the rose image from English Country Garden and I have used the Copic gradient technique for the ombre effect.

I just LOVE using the butterfly image!

That's all I have for today, but I will be back again tomorrow, hopefully at the usual time! Thanks for stopping by!
