Brand Ambassador - Sharing some Happy Succulents

Hello there!
It's Sarah here with my Brand Ambassador Inspiration post for March and I've been playing with the Happy Succulents set in a mix of mint and mauve.

I've teamed it with the Background Block: Horizontal Stripes on the first 2 cards and a shaker example on the third one, with a sentiment from wonderful Day.

There's a little bit of fuzzy cutting on the first 2 - not my favourite past-time but in the absence of dies and to add some lovely dimension to my cards, it was a must!

This is my first attempt of a shaker card using an acetate wrap around the front panel - I quite like how it turned out and think I might be having a slight shaker addiction at the moment!

Thanks for calling by and I hope you've enjoyed the succulent inspiration here.

CAS Colours & Sketches #222

Hey!

I'm here all be it late with my card for this weeks CAS Colours & Sketches challenge #222 HERE. This week Karen is our hostess as we take it in turns hosting one challenge each for the months of May & June.

This week is sketch week and Karen has this wonderful sketch seen below to spark your creativity...

When I saw this sketch a few weeks ago I knew that the Uniko May Release stamps would be perfect to use with it!

As you can see I've not used the Background Blocks Horizontal Stripe horizontal, instead showing its versatility by using it as vertical stripes. I used Lawn Fawn Plastic Flamingo to stamp the block and then trimmed it to the desired size.

I then stamped Background Blocks Doodle Flower and adhered the stripes before trimming to the exact width of my card base.

I selectively coloured the petals of the flowers and added a sentiment from Happy Succulents and finished the card off with a trio of Stampin' Up! enamel dots.

If you missed the Uniko May 2017 Reveal, Release & GIVEAWAY post on Saturday, you can catch up HERE. There is still time to hop along and comment to be in the chance of winning the ENTIRE release!

That's all from me today, if you need some more inspiration using the sketch be sure to pop by the CAS Colours & Sketches blog HERE and see how the DT and Guest Designer have used it.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Hugs

May 2017 Reveal, Release & GIVEAWAY!

Hey & Welcome to the Uniko May 2017 Reveal, Release & GIVEAWAY!

As we've quite a few new followers here, ("Hello & Thank you") I will explain what's going on! Here at Uniko I *USUALLY* only release new products every other month. This is for a number of reasons, firstly, being an avid paper crafter myself and knowing the current economic climate I know 'some' are on a limited budget when it comes to buying new stash, so this way you're not tempted to splurge too much every month.

The second reason is that it is just me here at Uniko HQ. I currently run this little business single handedly, designing, blogging, demoing, classes, packing. Alongside that I am a full time mum to 2  1/2 year old twin boys. So releasing every other month gives me chance to keep my head above water, well...just about!

This release is a little later than originally planned to coincide with Happy Stampers Festival, which I am exhibiting at today - YAY!

Anyway, today I am here with the help of the awesome design team to introduce you to the FOUR clear stamp sets available to purchase HERE now!

Let's have a look at them...

Uniko Sponsors "Less is More"

Hey!

I'm super duper pleased you have popped by this morning as it is not only the May Release Day here at Uniko at 9am BST, but myself and Uniko are proud to be sponsoring the challenge over at "Less is More" THIS week  - YAY!

With it being a new month they are starting with a colour challenge, yellow and grey. This was chosen by Anita as it is her Birthday weekend - HAPPY BIRTHDAY Anita.

As it is the Uniko May Release today, I couldn't resist using and paring the Background Blocks: Horizontal Stripe with my favourite Uniko Style flower!

I knew I wanted to create an ombre striped background, so set to putting my MISTI into action to ink and stamp each of the lines using Altenew inks.

The MISTI was put to work again to stamp and layer the Uniko Style flowers using Altenew inks. I added a simple sentiment from Simply Said and some of my favourite SU! enamel dots!

I hope I have inspired you to join in on the fun?!

That's all from myself for now, but be sure to head on over HERE to see what the "Less is More" Design Team have created to inspire you and to join in on the fun too. I hope to see you in the gallery!

I'll be back AGAIN soon with the FULL Reveal, Release, Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY!

Introducing... Background Blocks Doodle Flower & Horizontal Stripe

YAY!

I'm SO happy that you have stopped by today, as here at Uniko preparations for the May product release are well underway. We have had all the sneak peeks at the 4 clear stamp sets being released and NOW it is time for the Design Team and I to introduce them to you.

Today, myself and my AWESOME Design Team are introducing TWO clear stamp sets, Background Blocks Doodle Flower & Horizontal Stripe. These two sets have so many fun possibilities and can be used and paired with all sorts of stamps and paper crafting goodies.

Firstly here is a look at Background Blocks Doodle Flower...

This is such a fun stamp with lots of possibilities! For my card above I simply stamped it in VersaFine Onyx Black ink and selected 3 Stampin' Up! bright markers (Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise & Melon Mambo) to colour within the edges of the petal loops. I then added some matching SU! enamel dots to the flower centres. The sentiment is from Simply Said.

And how about a look at Background Blocks Horizontal Stripe...

I've started with a straight forward & CAS card using this stamp ;) I simply stamped the striped BG in Lawn Fawn Merman ink and then over stamped with Pure Florals: Cosmos in VersaFine Onyx Black ink. The sentiment is from a clear stamp set we will be introducing on Friday and again I added a few enamel dots to finish the card off.

That's all from me here, but be sure to hop along all the Design Team blogs and leave a comment along the way, as you never know you might just win a random prize! I know for sure that you won't be disappointed the Design Team have created a bountiful wealth of inspiration :)
