Uniko Challenge #40 - Spring With an Optional Twist of Easter

Hey!

Welcome to the March/April 2017 Uniko challenge. We have another fun and easy challenge this month to spark your creativity and I have changed the frequency and length of the challenges this year to hopefully give you a little more time to join in on the fun.

So this month we have the following challenge...

Spring is just around the corner for those in the Northern hemisphere and who doesn't love pretty flowers and bunnies?!

Challenge Guidelines:

* You can use any products/stamps to enter the challenge, but we do LOVE to see you use your Uniko products. Plus, there is an extra chance to win a prize if you do ;)

* Email entries welcome, just email a photo of your card to bev@uniko.co.uk and I will add it to the Uniko Flickr gallery and link up!

* Share the challenge graphic in your post and link back to the challenge if possible ;)

This month we have TWO awesome Guest Designers joining us, Marianne and Milka, both where lucky winners of Uniko Challenge #38.

They've created wonderful inspiration for you...

First is this beautiful Spring Wreath by Marianne, who has used the Uniko Digital Stamp Collection  I designed for Simply Cards & Papercrafts last Autumn. Isn't beautifully coloured, soft and Springy?! If you missed the post and downloads you can see it HERE.

Be sure to stop on by for all the details on Marianne's card HERE and leave some love :)

Next, Milka has used the recent Uniko Digital Stamp Collection I designed for Simply Cards & Papercrafts to make this beautiful Spring card...

CAS Colours & Sketches #164

Hey!

Sorry I have been so quiet here, I'm just about feeling as near to 100% that I am going to get after all the bugs and illnesses, plus almost caught up on other jobs in the studio!

Anyway, thanks for sticking around and I am back today with a card for the new challenge over at CAS Colours & Sketches HERE. This week is sketch week and our hostess Jane has a fun sketch for you to try...

Jane would really like you to keep the square element square, but if you think 'outside the box' this sketch has LOTS of potential!

Here is what I came up with...

Firstly I decided to use the recently released & popular Beautiful Blooms III clear stamp set (due back in stock on the 23rd March & available for pre order HERE).

I then turned to the current Uniko Challenge colours seen HERE and below, there is still time to join in and be in the chance of winning a eGift Certificate to spend in store.

I'm not sure if I have used this die cut technique before, so I thought I would used it for my card. I simply placed and traced round my square die, so I knew where to stamp my flower and sentiment. I then die cut the square and adhered the main white mat layer to the pink card base using DST and adhered the die cut square using foam adhesive.

I love the dimension and how the colour of the base card peeks through without overpowering the image.

Ok, that's all from me just now, but be sure to check out the CC&S design team samples and inspiration HERE and I look forward to seeing your creations in the gallery :)

Thanks for stopping by today.

CAS Colours & Sketches #162

Hey!

Welcome back to another fun challenge over at CAS Colours & Sketches. This week is sketch week and our host Stef has a fun and easy sketch for you HERE and seen below...

I was in a Spring mood with it being so sunny yesterday in the NE of the UK and decided to give the recently released Some Bunny some inky love...

I can't resist paper piecing the bunny, it is so quick and fun to do. I found a scrap of pink polka dot DP to use.

The colours of my card were inspired by the current Color Throwdown challenge colours seen HERE and below, which made for a perfect pink bunny against a backdrop of die cut light green 'mounds' and some kraft 'ground'!

Ok, that's all from me just now, but I will be sharing more today and also HERE with todays SOTW using this weeks CAS Colours & Sketches sketch too ;)

Thanks for stopping by & I hope to see you over in the challenge gallery HERE.
