Happy Monday :) I am SUPER excited you've stopped by & I am SUPER excited about this months Design Team Blog Hop today!
As you may or may not know here at Uniko Studio in the months between releases we have been revisiting one of the perviously released products blog hop style, this month as it's the last 'revisited' blog hop with only the December Release to come I thought I'd shake it up a little an let each of the design team & guest designer revisit their favourite Uniko Studio product.
This also means that there is MORE than one prize up for grabs!! Each of the design team are giving away a prize, so be sure to hop a long, enjoy the inspiration and comment for a chance to win on all of the blogs.
To kick things off I have picked a stamp set that I haven't shown a whole lot of love this past release, Background Builders: Christmas...
When I designed the set I had so many ideas in ways to use it, so this week I have decided I would put those ideas into practice. Starting off with a couple of new cards to share with you today...
When I designed the set I had so many ideas in ways to use it, so this week I have decided I would put those ideas into practice. Starting off with a couple of new cards to share with you today...
I started out with the 2 step stamping holly stamps to create a nice little border on two sides of my white card layer. I add the 'Merry & Bright' sentiment from All Occasion Sentiments #4 and added a small sprig of holly to the top of the Y.
For my next card I decided to create another bauble card, can you tell sI'm loving circles & baubles at the moment?
I started out by die cutting a circle in my white mat layer and stamping the large bow from Label Love: Birthday and drawing the strand with a fine liner. I also added a small 'Merry & Bright' sentiment from Label: Christmas.
On my Royal Velvet card base I masked off the section that would show through the die cut circle and stamped the snowflakes from Background Builders: Christmas in Silver pigment ink and embossed with Stardust EP for some added sparkle. A simple rhinestone finished the bow & card off.
That's all the projects I have to share today using this set, but I will have more to share throughout the week using this set. To be in the chance of winning this set, simply leave a comment on this post by Thursday 14th November & I will randomly select a lucky winner & announce it here on the blog on Friday 15th Nov.
